Texas Tech University is located in Lubbock and is home to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. It is the only Texas institution to house a medical school and law school at the same location. The medical school is known as Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and it houses the Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy.
